摘要： 面对创造属于我们这个时代的新文化这一崭新事业，重新挖掘、重释并创造性转化、利用富有当代价值的本土历史资源，成为一项重要基础工作。五四新文化运动时期的思想成果与实践探索经验极具参照价值，应当考量其创造性转化、利用的可能与限度。首先，其“整体性”思维范式——涵盖全球化视野与总体性变革思路——构成连接当今与五四传统的核心纽带。其次，五四时期的“人类一体化”意识植根于“大人类主义”观，可为当前思考人类命运前景提供历史资源。其三，五四开启的从“世界化—民族化”到“人类一体的生活，世界一家的社会”这一两阶段变革进程在今天仍有其价值。当今，人类共同探索文明新形态仍处于起步阶段，尤须借鉴五四创新精神，但也必须清醒认识历史资源转化与利用的限度。

Abstract: Confronted with the new endeavor of creating a new culture belonging to our era, re-excavating, reinterpreting, and creatively transforming and utilizing local historical resources rich in contemporary value has become a crucial foundational task. The intellectual achievements and practical exploratory experience of the May Fourth New Culture Movement offer extremely valuable reference points; thus, we must examine the possibilities and limits of their creative transformation and utilization. First, its “holistic” thinking paradigm-encompassing a global vision and a total-reform approach-constitutes the core bond connecting the present with the May Fourth tradition. Second, the May Fourth awareness of “human integration” was rooted in the concept of “Great Humanism”, which can provide historical resources for current reflections on the prospects of humanity’s destiny. Third, the two-stage transformation process initiated by May Fourth-from “globalization-nationalization” to “a life of human integration, a society of one world family” remains valuable today. At present, the collective exploration of new civilizational forms is still in its infancy; we especially need to draw on the innovative spirit of May Fourth, but must also soberly recognize the limits of transforming and utilizing historical resources.
